"All the evidence suggests that it is how you manage change that matters, not the fact that you experience such a change in your life."

Counselling Supervision
I have completed an Advanced Diploma in Supervision (Counselling and Psychotherapy) from the Personal Counselling Institute, Dublin.
As a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor, I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and Principles of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Approach to Supervision
I utilise the integrative approach to supervision, with the emphasis on supervision being a place for clinical and professional development as well as a profession in itself.
Whilst I have been trained in a generic model of supervision I specialise in the Hawkins and Shohet Psychodynamic model and the Systemic Domains model of supervision. The emphasis on supervision is 'to learn'.
In learning, supervisees develop clinical, personal and professional competence which is essential not only for the welfare of clients but also in providing evidence for accredition with other professional bodies.
My approach to supervision acknowledges the importance of the of the multiple context of supervision, which includes the supervisory relationship and contract.
Counselling Supervision Belfast & Bangor
I offer supervision to individuals within the helping professions and to organizations throughout Northern Ireland. Supervision normally takes place at either our Belfast or Bangor locations.
